Nymphaea, Water Lilies

Posted on July 15, 2020September 3, 2021 By Jonathan Edgerton

A Resilient Bloom

The water lilies don’t seem to mind the blazing sun. In fact, they seem to flaunt their presence in the face of it with their showy blooms and lush green leaves. Even with our relatively cold winters, these have thrived in their little pool for well over a decade with almost no maintenance

Nymphaea. Amazingly easy to grow as perennials, even in this harsh climate. The center of this one always strikes me as looking like a perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg. Need to go make some toast points to dip in that yolk.😉
