Cutting Boards and Bread Lames

Posted on April 1, 2021September 5, 2021 By Jonathan Edgerton

A side benefit of the kitchen renovation project is that we have no end of scraps of cherry wood in the barn. Occasionally they become transformed into useful objects, such as cutting boards, bread lames, grooved gnocchi boards, rolling pins, porridge spirtles, and even cocktail muddlers. That usually happens when I’m looking for an excuse not to complete a project that’s a legitimate priority. Our latest fun thing has been using a branding iron to mark them with our logo (as created by @gillisgraphics). Not quite ready to offer a line of merchandise, but who knows what the future might bring.
